Can I choose when and where I work?
Yes—the builder workflow is all online. There is no Zilly office to attend and no fixed workplace: work from home or another place that suits you, with a laptop and reliable internet. You choose your working routine around the agreed project deadlines and client communication.
What is the earning opportunity?
You develop a useful skill and sell websites to businesses that need them. Under the planned model, you choose the retail price for clients you introduce; Zilly keeps its agreed fixed fee, with your builder entitlement paid after sign-off. Your earnings depend on winning clients, pricing, costs and the work you deliver.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You build visually using drag-and-drop tools: start with a template, move sections into place and customise the words, images and colours. You do not need to learn code. Zilly is being designed to provide training and guidance as you learn the tools and how to deliver a good client website.
Is Zilly ready to join?
Not yet. We’re preparing the service. Registering interest means you would like to hear more as it develops; it does not create an account or commit you to anything.
Is this a job with a salary?
No. The builder opportunity is for self-employed people running their own website-building business. Work and earnings are not guaranteed.
Where would my customers come from?
Part of your training will cover tried-and-tested methods for finding and winning clients, helping you build your own customer base. You can find and introduce your own clients, and Zilly may also offer suitable builders referral projects, but there is no promise of a particular number of projects.
Who contracts with the customer?
The customer contracts with and pays Zilly. Builders work through a separate agreement with Zilly and deliver the agreed website through its system.
How would I get paid?
Under the approved model, Zilly keeps a fixed fee for the website and pays the builder’s remaining entitlement after customer sign-off. Fee amounts, deductions and payout processing times are still being finalised.
Is there a joining fee or builder subscription?
Joining fees and builder subscriptions are not part of the current model. The planned model uses per-website fees. Full commercial terms will be shared before you commit.
Can I get a website for my own business?
Yes. Use the contact page and choose “A website for my business” to tell us what you need. This site also introduces our developing opportunity for independent website builders.
